So this picture was taken a little behind schedule, so it was already dark by the time we got outside. It's one of my simpler outfits, mostly because I was totally psyched to try out the faux fur coat I got. Also, I'm still really digging dresses and fake garter tights, because my brain refuses to accept the inevitable onslaught that is winter (and I'm making a mini-project for the winter using some spring/summer essentials such as skirts and shorts to stay warm). Luckily, there wasn't any wind today, so I was perfectly comfortable. The hat and infinity scarf are pretty darn warm, though. The dress is one of my first ModCloth purchases, and I'm usually pretty reluctant to wear it because I don't like the "cute girl"-y vibes that it gives off, but I wore all black with it, including combat boots, because then the look turned from "girly-girl" into "confident sophisticate". It was a lucky find, because it really is such a versatile, simple piece (and I definitely need a little bit more simplicity in my wardrobe).
